We had a great weekend. We merged with Waxhaw Airsoft, held Sniper Training and had a presence at Op: Phantom Hawk in SC with Diesel being the winning CO.

Fulda Gap 2010

Well Fulda Gap 2010 has been completed and the Militia did well. Nato won this year with 82dcustomer having another undefeated year. Withl the help of many good players 82dcustomer has been the winning General 4 years in a row.

We also were fortunate to pick up 2 new players at this event. Welcome to Gambler and Sgt Grumbles, our two newest additions.

6mm Militia History

We are an Airsoft team located in Western North Carolina. We currently have 13 active members and several others that play with us on occasion. We have been a team since Mar ’06 and have been playing at least once if not twice a month ever since. We first started out playing in the woods with just a couple guys using GBBs and stock TMs. The few snowballed into about 12 and we expanded into playing on my neighbor’s land as well. By this time several people had upgraded to M120 springs.

We then started branching out onto the state scene. Our first game outside of the backyard was in Charlotte at a place called Braden’s. This is where we met most of the hard core players from NC. After meeting some of those people we traveled to South Carolina to play in our fist big OP called OP: Red Thunder. We were hooked on big scale MilSim. We have tried to hit every big event in NC and SC ever since.

Since ’06 we have played in NC, SC, VA, TN, KY, IN, OK, HI, WV, and FL. Some of the bigger events we have attended are OP: Irene V , VI, VII, Mindgames Production’s Washing of the Spears and OP Blackjack, CDWC’s Fulda Gap 06, 07, 08, 09 and SCAA’s OP: Red Thunder, OP: Kudzu, and OP: Kudzu II, Airsoftcon and Oklahoma Invasion V.

We are always looking forward and always trying to improve as a team. We plan on setting a high standard not only for us but for other members of the Airsoft community to emulate. We all share the same vision of wanting to go to an OP and being professional, maintaining integrity, advancing the sport of Airsoft, being safe, and having fun. When running around shooting friends with plastic pellets is no longer fun, I guess we will hang it up. We follow the NCAO guidelines and rules when applicable.
