6mm Militia 6th Annual Sniper Competition
Welcome to the 6th Annual 6mm Militia Sniper Competition! The country’s oldest MilSim Sniper Competition. This year we have some new twists and have expanded our competitor team size to 4 members. This change in size reflects the current change in sniper doctrine to reflect operations in OIF and OEF, plus it gives you more team mates to help you secure more points. Teams may consist of 2 Bolt Action/Semi Automatic Snipers, 1 Rifleman, and 1 Support Gunner/Rifleman. If your team does not have a Support Gunner a Rifleman can fill that role.
With more competitors comes more work to provide you with a quality event. 6mm Militia is proud to partner up with RapTac and Gunny’s Warfare Center to provide you a competent event staff and a class A MilSim event!
Lane One- Range Time! Who has the hottest trigger finger? Every contestant will go to the range to prove their accuracy. Each lane will be specifically designed for your class. Can your Snipers hit 100 yards? We will find out. Can your Support Gunner suppress targets? Riflemen filling in as Support Gunners will qualify on the Support Gunner range. All targets will be at unknown ranges, shooters will be given time to range estimate for bonus points. No laser range finders allowed. Maximum earnable points 200 points per team member.
Lane Two- Kill House! Team will dynamically enter the kill house, clear it of all static targets, Snipers will engage static targets outside of the kill house, while Riflemen and Support gunners will provide protection by shooting dynamic live targets outside of the kill house. Do not let the OPFOR throw grenades in the kill house! The Sniper Team that shoots the targets the fastest and survives will win the lane. 1st place=200pts, 2nd= 175 points, 3rd= 150 points, etc
Lane Three-Communication! One of the Snipers will be segregated from the rest of the team. He/She will be given a portfolio of targets that need to be eliminated. They must relay the target info over their radio to the rest of the team. Only correct target hits will be scored and wrong targets will be a penalty. The team who shoots the most correct targets the fastest wins. 1st place=200pts, 2nd= 175 points, 3rd= 150 points, etc
Lane Four- Man Down! The team must go down range in a minefield to retrieve a fallen comrade, and carry him/her back on a field expedient stretcher. If any member blows up a mine or booby trap, then the team must decide to eliminate one team mate. The team with the fastest time retrieving the fallen soldier wins. Extra points will be awarded for each surviving member of your team. 1st place=200pts, 2nd= 175 points, 3rd= 150 points, each person left alive afterwards is worth 25 bonus points.

Lane Six- Convoy! Teams will mount up in RED Airsoft’s APC. The team will be shooting at an exploding Tanerite target at a known distance. Scope will not need to be manipulated for the shot. The team who makes the target explode in the smallest amount of time wins the lane. You can talk the talk, but can you crawl the crawl? 1st place=200pts, 2nd= 175 points, 3rd= 150 points, etc You have to hit the target to score points.
